Dorset Residential Care Home
The house was occupied by the rectors of Stalbridge until the middle of the last century. It is situated in the quiet village of Stalbridge - a short level walk from a variety of shops.
The Old Rectory became a residential home for Elderly people in the early 1970's. This family run home is set within beautiful, well maintained gardens which can be viewed from every room.
Residents are encouraged to invite their relatives and friends to visit them in their room, public room or garden in suitable weather. Such visitors should make their presence known to the staff on arrival when suitable refreshments will be offered. A private lounge for entertaining visitors is also available on request.
From time to time the home is able to offer a vacant room for full occupation or short term respite care.
Relatives of prospective residents may make full inquiries and arrange a visit to the home. If required, proprietors will be happy to visit prospective residents in their own home. A request for a trial stay of one or two weeks can usually be accommodated.
