Dear friend,

Facilities and Activities at The Old RectoryWhat a full day I’ve had today, we went for an outing to Stourhead followed by a short stop at the Spread Eagle Inn. Tomorrow’s activity is flower arranging, when we will be re-designing the floral arrangements around the home. We are also having a residents meeting tomorrow to discuss our next outing; we love the opportunity to discuss so many issues through our meetings, such as mealtimes, activities, concerns and care issues.

This Thursday we are having a sing song evening, we are being visited by a young lady who plays the Organ. She is going to lead us down memory lane with songs like ‘Underneath the Arches’, ‘Bless them all’, ‘Sally’ and lots more, I can’t wait. We’re having a little buffet during the evening. You are welcome to come and join in.

Next week we are going to the Theatre to see a pantomime, that will be such fun! What I really love about it here is that no one ever forces you to get involved, but if you want to, then it’s there.

Love Emma
P.S We had a super lunch at the pub.
