Dear friend,
The Old Rectory is so luxurious, sometimes I have to check that the sign outside doesn’t actually say ‘Hotel’. It’s beautiful. I have a lovely large room with en-suite facilities and I have a shower that you can get into with a wheelchair. I had a nice cup of tea this morning - served with a smile.
I think I will have my afternoon tea in the Courtyard, which is so sunny and sheltered I could stay there all day. My room overlooks the village where there’s always something going on to keep me interested.
I love to people watch whilst I am nice and cosy in my room. Anyway I must sign off for now as I am getting ready to go and join some of my friends in the Orangery.
